The Fifth Down was formed in 2010 in Red Bank, New Jersey. Elias Kotsis (Keys/Vocals), Bobby Lussier (Guitar/Vocals), Kyle Murphy (Vocals/Guitar), and Ethan Wagner (Bass/Vocals) met in middle school and originally formed a band for their middle school talent show. Following the talent show and a failed attempt at becoming a ska band, George Ford (Drums) joined the band and in 2011. The Fifth Down began playing local shows and competitions gaining a local following and a unique alternative pop-punk sound of their own. Dylan Levine (Guitar) joined the band in 2014. The Fifth Down released their first recorded effort, the EP, A Reason to Celebrate, in February, 2015.
